What to do When Your Bosch Dishwasher Shows Watertap Error

What to Do If the Bosch Dishwasher Shows a Water Tap Error? The “Check the water supply” indicator is an indication that appears as a tap.

Most homeowners like to use the dishwasher without “bashing their heads” about indicators, faults, and other intricacies. Instead, they do it when the machine is working properly and performing its duty.

The Bosch dishwashers feature a self-diagnosis mechanism. Indicators or faults may be displayed on the device display if there are any issues or changes in operation. One of these symbols is the Tap icon.

The tap indicator may light up or blink if the error and the Bosch dishwasher’s model are correct. The tap icon might flicker if there is a digital indication, and the display will show a fault.

Tap indicator lights up.

If the indicator blinks on and off, it indicates that everything is working properly.

  • The water supply hose has been kinked.
  • The water tap is turned off.
  • The supply hose’s filter is clogged.
  • Filters are clogged or stopped from working.
  • The drain hose is clogged or kinked.
  • The siphon is shut off.
  • The pump has stopped working, or the pump cover is not properly shut.

The dishwasher can still operate if there are clogs and hose bending. It is also not difficult to rinse the filters and filler mesh. If a problem is discovered and resolved, restart the dishwasher in any washing mode. It must run the washing process without fault for it to work properly.

Dishwashers frequently stop working even after we’ve checked and cleaned all hoses and filters. The tap indication continues to flash.

When there is a problem with the dishwasher, the filters are unable to repair it.

Tap indicator blinks

If the Bosch dishwasher’s tap indicator blinks, it is an indication of another problem. This term is linked to a more serious failure.

According to instructions:

There might be a technical problem. After a while, use the button to switch it off and then on again. If the difficulty resumes, turn off the water supply, unplug the appliance, and contact a professional.

The indicator light typically flashes when an e15 error code is displayed. In this situation, it is critical to switch off the tap and seek assistance from experts.

If the tap indicator (water supply indicator) lights up or blinks, it does not necessarily indicate a water supply issue. The primary purpose of the tap icon is to notify an owner that there is a problem.

What is Bosch AquaStop?

Simply put, the dishwasher is not functioning correctly, or your home’s plumbing is clogged or obstructed. Of course, the problem could be with the machine, but it’s also possible that something else is wrong.

If you’ve recently had to call an appliance repair company for help removing any obstructions in your pipes, drain servicing, water heating issues, if everything looks dry and clean on your end, then most likely there are no blockages inside the pipes of your kitchen sink.

However -> stated, the dishwasher isn’t working properly, or there is a blockage in your home’s plumbing system. When a leak is detected, the valve cuts off the water supply immediately.
